​A three-day weekend tournament starting on Friday the 21st of June 2019.  The Classical and Rated tournaments are FIDE rated and are both played over 5 rounds.

Round 1 - Friday 14th June at 6pm

Round 2 - Saturday 15th June at 10am

Round 3 - Saturday 15th June at 5pm

Round 4 - Sunday 16th June at 10am

Round 5 - Sunday 16th June at 3:30pm

CLASSICAL TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS:

  1. This is a FIDE rated event.
  2. Any Adult or Junior player can apply.
  3. Time control 60 minutes + 30 second increments.
  4. Tournament is open to unrated players 
  5. Closing date for applications Wednesday the 12th of June 2019.  No applications shall be considered after this deadline.   Applications accepted on 1st come basis.  
  6. Application fee must be paid upon registration.  

TIEBREAK SYSTEM:

  1. Buchholz (variable with parameter)
  2. Direct encounter
  3. Greater number of victories 
  4. Sonneborn- Berger

RAPID U16 TOURNAMENT:

Saturday the 15th of June 1 pm

Rounds: Between 5 / 6 depending on number of players

RAPID TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS:

  1. This is a FIDE rated event.
  2. Any Junior player aged 16 or under can apply.
  3. Time control 15 minutes + 10 second increments.
  4. The tournament is open to unrated players 
  5. Closing date for applications Wednesday the 12th of June 2019.  No applications shall be considered after this deadline.   Applications accepted on 1st come basis.  
  6. The application fee must be paid upon registration. 
  7. The player can ask for the bye it will be counted as 0, max bye can be twice and let the organisers know when you register.
